The Watertown High School Gosling Marching Band is a semi-competitive ensemble comprised of all 9-12th grade band students at the High School. The band performs at all of the school's football games, several competitions, Watertown's 4th of July Parade, Homecoming Parade, and Holiday Parade.
A tiny caterpillar, fruit, and loads of junk food. What could go wrong?! The Gosling Marching Band proudly presents it’s 2025 field show featuring original music by Wisconsin composer, Rick Kirby. This year’s show is based on the classic children’s story by Eric Carle. Each of the five musical selections correspond to plot points in the book; the Egg, Fresh Fruit, Junkfood Jam, the Cocoon, and Metamorphosis. Students will begin exploring the music next week and start marching in late June. Most of the material will be learned during Band Camp week in August as the band prepares for three public performances and three competitions in the fall. The season will culminate with the band’s fourth consecutive appearance at the State Marching Band Championships on October 18!
